New Europe Travel Mart - Tourist Fair in the Spring Congress Season

This year's congress and incentive season in Dubrovnik began earlier than last year. It is expected that in the springtime Dubrovnik will play host to 150 congresses, business gatherings, incentives and other events of the kind. According to the Dubrovnik hotels and agencies, the spring MICE season is exceptionally good, much better than last year, which is a guarantee that the autumn part of the congress season will be equally successful.

Easter in Dubrovnik

Easter programmes in Dubrovnik present the spirit of tradition and the Catholic spirit of the people who piously attend celebrations of the Holy Week, particularly the ceremonious procession under the Cross on Good Friday, and share gifts such as painted eggs, plaited palm leaves, olive twigs and the pinca (a special Easter cake).

After six years the 2011 Libertas Film Festival & Forum will feature its new concept. The seventh Libertas Film Festival & Forum will take place in Dubrovnik from 11 – 17 April. In addition to the film programme the Festival will include 5 workshops and the first Regional Film Forum!

Ruđer Bošković, the 18th Century Genius

Ruđer Bošković, the 18th Century Genius is the title of the exhibition organised by the Dubrovnik Museums, which will be opened on the anniversary of Bošković's birth and on the International Museum Day, 18 May, at the Rector's Palace.

National Cultural Tourism Day in Dubrovnik

The 4th National Cultural Tourism Day will be marked on 19 May 2011 in Dubrovnik. Its organisers include the Croatian Tourist Board, the Dubrovnik Tourist Board, the Dubrovnik-Neretva County Tourist Board, the Dubrovnik-Neretva County and the local tourist boards.
