You will enjoy a pleasant ride on the new, low-floored, air-conditioned buses of the Libertas Public Transport Company. All city districts are excellently connected with frequent regular bus lines. The public bus time-tables are posted at every bus stop. They are also available at the Dubrovnik Tourist Board Information Offices and at your hotel reception desk.

Bus tickets can be obtained from the bus driver (15 kunas), at kiosks (S ticket - 12 kunas), at the Libertas Company ticket-windows at Pile, Bus Terminal and in Mokošica, at hotel reception desks and tourist agencies.

Please prepare the exact amount for the tickets purchased on the bus, because the driver cannot give you change. The purchased bus ticket, after being clipped for the first time, is valid for one hour for an unlimited number of rides within the city.

The magnet card payment system involves turning the front side of the ticket containing the magnetic strip towards you and inserting it into the ticket-machine, after which you take the ticket out.

If you have a contactless bus ticket, you merely press it against the sensor.
