Đurović Cave, a natural karstic phenomenon, is situated right under the Dubrovnik Airport runway. Due to this specific location, which makes it unique in the whole world, it has gained its commercial name – Skycellar.
Expert audio guidance will help you discover the history of the Cave. Descend all the way into the underground and you will reach the Dubrovnik Republic Hall, the genuine treasure trove of the most spectacular stalactites of various types.
After this extraordinary aesthetic experience, it is time to reward your palate. Skycellar houses all recognized and geographically protected wines from Konavle Region. In addition to sightseeing the Cave, you are invited to taste wines. They can also be purchased, along with other authentic souvenirs, at the Skycellar shop.
Skycellar Museum of Wines from Konavle Region exhibits high quality wines of renowned Konavle winemakers: BRATOŠ VINA, CRVIK, DUBROVAČKI PODRUMI DD, KARAMAN, KLAIĆ VINSKI PODRUM, PODRUM MARINOVIĆ, PODRUM MILJAS and PODRUM MONIKA.
The Cave is open daily from 10,00 to 18,00 hours. Upon request, a visit at other times can also be organised.
The prices of the tickets for 2010 are as follows:
- Individual guests: 40,00 kn
- Groups of 12 or more persons: 30,00 kn
- Children (to 14 years of age) and senior citizens: 15,00 kn
